How hard is it to be an effective teacher? What are the things that you should know and avoid?
Here are some tips on how to be an effective teacher. First, you should love teaching as a profession. A good teacher masters his/her lessons and inspires students to what to do well or to know more. Next, always remember that a teacher do not become effective from a book or a college course. They learn to be effective by finding out what works and what doesn't. Lastly, you should love to teach children especially the younger ones. And you also need to show your students, through your words and actions, that teaching is a two-way relationship, providing you with personal reward and challenge. Dedication, hard work, patience, self-discipline, determination and love to your profession are the building blocks to be an effective teacher.
